主要结构如下：

叶轮：产生压头，传递能量。

机壳：收集从叶轮出来的气体引向排出口，把气流的部分动能转变为压力能。

入口调节风门:调节机出力，将设备与系统隔离。(也叫导流器，有的采用变频技术，液力偶和器调节出力，)

大轴：传递扭矩

轴承：承受转子的径向轴向载荷，限制转子的径向轴向的运动位置。

靠背轮:联接电动机，传递轴功率

集流器：在损失小的情况下，使气流均匀的充满叶轮进口断面。

轴承箱：装置轴承，*润滑液。

锅炉离心通风机是为适应燃用各种煤质并配有消烟除尘装置的工业锅炉配套设计的。凡进气条件相当，性能又相适应的均可选用。通风机输送的介质为烟雾气，温度不的超过200度，在引风机前，加装效率不低于85%的除尘装置，降低进入风机的烟气含尘量，以便提高风机寿命。

锅炉房的鼓风机和引风机噪声一般在90分贝左右，因输送的锅炉烟气温度高达180℃，采用封闭隔声会导致散热不良，电机温度过高，甚至烧毁电机。因此，在工艺上将风机降噪和节能两方面结合起来 。

经实践，锅炉风机节能降噪综合治理方案为：对锅炉房的工艺布置保持不变，将鼓风机、引风机分别置在隔声室内，用通风管将它们与主机相连接，在隔声室顶上或墙面上开设进气口，并安装消声器供机房进风使用。平面布置时将鼓风机靠近锅炉房一侧，进风口在上风侧，电机置于气流通道中间。
