常见的国产离心机无中间仓，依靠迷宫式密封及软密封来完成固液两相密封，安装工艺方面的要求如下：
（1）为自然排风口，由设备厂家自带汽水分离罐，按分离罐上端法兰口配管就能满足排气要求；
（2）为强制排气口，国产离心机虽无外来气体的介入，为使其能够达到*运行状态，应考虑强制排风。
进口离心机有较严格的气流方向要求，否则很难使设备达到理想状态，安装工艺方面的要求如下：
（1）为分离母液的排出口侧面接管排气，是自然排风口；
（2）为强制进风口，该离心机设计有中间仓，依靠进风的风量封住固相及液相排出的气流，起到密封作用。在离心机运转时，因离心作用使腔内为负压，吸进等于吸出，故离心机固相及液相有气流排出；
（3）为强制排风口，此气流不排出，会造成离心机下料仓气阻，增加了运行电流及振动，严重时易搭桥造成事故（脱水滤饼有一定的水含量，流动性非常差）。在考虑强制排风时，计算排风量要留有余量，因为进口离心机中间仓有外来气体介入。
随着我国精细加工技术的不断进步，国产离心机在很多技术方面已经超越国外进口的离心机产品。
