马弗炉，是炉子，熔炉的意思
马弗炉，是炉子，熔炉的意思。马弗炉在中国的通用叫法有以下几种：电炉、电阻炉、茂福炉、马福炉。马弗炉是一种通用的加热设备，依据外观形状可分为箱式炉、管式炉、坩埚炉。
马弗炉应用范围：
(1)热加工、工业工件处理、水泥、建材行业,进行小型工件的热加工或处理。
(2)医药行业：用于药品的检验、医学样品的预处理等。
(3)分析化学行业：作为水质分析、环境分析等领域的样品处理。也可以用来进行石油及其分析。
(4)煤质分析：用于测定水分、灰分、挥发分、灰熔点分析、灰成分分析、元素分析。也可以作为通用灰化炉使用。
马弗炉使用注意事项：
当马弗炉次使用或长期停用后再次使用时，必须进行烘炉干燥：在20～200℃打开炉门烘2-3h，200～600℃关门烘2-3h。
实验前，温控器应避免震动，放置位置与电炉不宜太近，防止过热使电子元件不能正常工作。搬动温控器时应将电源开关置“关”。
使用前，将温控器调至所需工作温度，打开启动编码使马弗炉通电，此时电流表有读数产生，温控表实测温度值逐渐上升，表示马弗炉、温控器均在正常工作。
(一)工作环境要求无易燃易爆物品和腐蚀性气体，禁止向炉膛内直接灌注各种液体及熔解金属，经常保持炉膛内的清洁。
(二)使用时炉膛温度不得超过炉温，也不得在额定温度下长时间工作。实验过程中，使用人不得离开，随时注意温度的变化，如发现异常情况，应立即断电，并由专业维修人员检修。
(三)使用时炉门要轻关轻开，以防损坏机件。坩埚钳放取样品时要轻拿轻放，以保证安全和避免损坏炉膛。
(四)温度超过600度后不要打开炉门。等炉膛内温度自然冷却后再打开炉门。
(五)实验完毕后，样品退出加热并关掉电源，在炉膛内放取样品时，应先微开炉门，待样品稍冷却后再小心夹取样品，防止烫伤。
(六)加热后的坩埚宜转移到干燥器中冷却，放置缓冲耐火材料上，防止吸潮炸，裂，后称量。
(七)搬运马弗炉时，注意避免严重共振，放置远离易燃易爆、水等物品。严禁抬炉门，避免炉门损坏。
