About

Higher performance

The TSA Series aims at fulfilling high-level requirements for thermal shock testing.
The advanced model achieves 1000-cycle consecutive tests without defrosting (option), and offers reduced temperature recovery time, heat up and pull down time.
Features an eco operation mode for more energy savings.

 
Reduced power consumption

With the eco operation mode, operating time is shortened by temporarily suspending temperature pre-conditioning periods.

Reduced test duration

In 2 zone test, the TSA achieves 1000-cycle consecutive test (500-hour) without activating defrost operation usually required. This allows dramatic reduction of the overall test time.

Features

  • Short temperature recovery time
    The maximum temperature recovery time at upstream air for 2 zone test (+150°C and -65°C) and 3 zone test is only 5 min. (10 min. for TSA-201S and TSA-301L)
  • Great uniformity
    Horizontal air flow system offers excellent specimen temperature uniformity.
  • Efficiency thanks to specimen temperature control (option)
    Thanks to this feature, the equipment achieves set temperature attainment with rapidity and accuracy.
  • STT function (option)
    Thanks to the specimen temperature monitor with trigger, exposure time starts only when the specimen has reached the set temperature, leading to more precise test results.
  • User-friendly controller
    The LCD touch-screen controller allows easy check of the test patterns, temperatures settings, test cycles and graph displays.

Energy-saving

  • Reduced operating time
    The eco operation mode reduces the operating time by temporarily suspending following periods:
    - Pre-cooling of the low temperature chamber during high temp. exposure,
    - Preheating of the high temperature chamber during low temp. exposure.
    Thanks to the eco operation mode, power consumption is dramatically reduced especially for long exposure time, and tests requiring many cycles. (except TSA-41L)
  • Unique chamber structure
    (Patent No. 3514735)
    ESPEC’s unique design enables 1000-cycle (500-hour) without defrosting in 2 zone test. The structure prevents outside air to penetrate, which is usually causing frost. Constant environmental conditions are maintained, thus expanding the defrost-free operation range.
